• Coordinating the Title I Parent Advisory Council
• Writing and managing the RIF grant and program
• Reading Teacher for Freshmen and Sophomores
• Journalism-Yearbook Teacher/Advisor

Favorite in-class activity:
Discussing reading/books in terms of ideas and characters/people
Designing yearbook pages

How do you ensure all students are learning?
I try to check or informally assess student progress regularly (daily) and vary reteaching strategies

Advice to students for the coming year:
Think about what you want your life to be in five to ten years. Then focus on doing something daily toward achieving that goal or dream. Dreams without action rarely come true.

Hobbies:
Spending time with my family, reading, and
sports (mostly watching now)
